It is believed that with somebody in to write the screenplay, the movie could start filming in the fall of this year.

The man who has been drafted in is the Watchmen screenwriter Alex Tse and with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, 28 Weeks Later director, helming the film and Bradley Cooper starring as Eric Draven, made famous by Brandon Lee, it is sure to be a big hit.
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is said to be delighted to have Bradley Cooper starring and is even hoping to co write the script with Alex Tse. The much celebrated 1994 original was based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr.
