The Dark Knight Rises brings back dead Batman character

It is being suggested that The Dark Knight Rises is set to star a character which was killed off during Batman Begins. Ra's Al Ghul, played by Liam Neeson, appeared to be killed at the end of Batman Begins, however he is set to make a return in The Dark Knight Rises.

It was reported that Liam Neeson was seen on set in London on Monday to film some of his scenes for The Dark Knight Rises, as his villainous character Ra's Al Ghul. In the DC Comics Ra's Al Ghul is resurrected in a chemical pool which is called the Lazarus Pit.

Liam Neeson will be appearing in another sequel in the coming years as he is signed on to return as Brian Mills in the, as of yet untitled sequel to the 2008 hit Taken. The Dark Knight Rises is once again directed by Christopher Nolan and will also star Christian Bale in his third outing as Batman.
