When somebody mentions cast spoilers, you would expect to learn of a cast member who is appearing in a movie, who you did not realise was set to appear. So from our headline you would expect us to tell you about somebody who is set to appear in The Dark Knight Rises, who you did not know about.
However, over at Den of Geek, they reported earlier this week that they had a cast spoiler for The Dark Knight Rises but that is not really true. Den of Geek claimed this week that they had discovered that Liam Neeson was set to return to the Christopher Nolan Batman franchise.
Yet anybody who has been keeping up with The Dark Knight Rises and has been doing their homework would have known months ago that Liam Neeson was returning for The Dark Knight Rises. In fact, Liam discussed his role in The Dark Knight Rises back in January.
It is fair to say that not everybody does know certain things about certain movies but to claim to have a cast spoiler when you are just confirming something that people already know shows a lack of research. However, Den of Geek are a usually a very good source for entertainment, so we will let them off this one.
