The Dark Knight Rises actor Tom Hardy, who is set to play the villain Bane in the upcoming Christopher Nolan Batman movie, has revealed how he believes that they have taken a big risk with the potential mumbling of Bane’s voice. However, Tom did admit that he believes the audience will soon be able to tune into the voice.

Hardy explained to Entertainment Weekly, “It's a risk, because we could be laughed at - or it could be very fresh and exciting. The audience mustn't be too concerned about the mumbly voice. As the film progresses, I think you'll be able to tune to its setting.”
Concerns arose about the sound of Bane’s voice when the six minute prologue was released earlier this year. It showed scenes of Tom Hardy as Bane but due to the mask and the accent, it was rather difficult to understand what was being said.

The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final movie in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and it will also be the last time that we see Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader. As well as Tom Hardy as Bane, Batman will also be up against Catwoman, who is played by Anne Hathaway.
The Dark Knight Rises is released on July 20.
