The was much excitement surrounding The Flash movie, when it was first announced that it would be coming to the big screen but things have been a bit quite of late. As far as we understand it, The Flash script is coming ever closer to being completed in its final copy, so The Flash movie is coming ever closer to receiving the Green Light to be made.
It is still believed that Greg Berlanti, who has had a hand in penning the screenplay for The Flash, will be set to take the director’s chair for The Flash. While many will not be overly pleased about Greg Berlanti helming the project, fans will take some comfort in the knowledge that, DC creative director and The Flash comic book writer, Geoff Johns will be on set to help guide the movie.
The only person who has been rumoured to have been cast in The Flash so far, is Kelly Seacrest who is in line to play Lady Villian. It is believed that The Flash will get the Green Light early next year and will be set to be released in 2014. There are even rumours afoot that The Flash will appear in a Justice League movie first, before releasing The Flash movie on its own so it could have to wait until 2016 for The Flash to be released.
