The Fray’s new album coming soon

It has been a while since we have heard any new material for the American band The Fray but it appears that we will not have to wait too much longer. Not only have the band lent their vocals to a covers album but they also have a third album not too far from completion.

The Fray have recently contributed a cover of Buddy Holly's "Take Your Time" for the upcoming tribute album, Listen to Me: Buddy Holly, to be released on September 6, 2011. Also earlier this month, The Fray confirmed that they had finished recording their third album but it was not quite ready for release.

On their official Twitter page, they wrote, “We're done recording and mixing LP3, but it has a couple more stops on the assembly line before it gets to you. -BW #soon #worththewait”. Now it seems that it is getting even closer as a recent tweet revealed, it read, “Arranging the tracklist for a record reminds me of writing a set list for a show. Love it. –BW”. We at FansShare cannot wait to hear it.
