Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson has rejected the chance to talk to fans about his latest project, The Hobbit at Comic Con 2011, this week. Many fans are extremely disappointed by Peters decision but the director feels that it is just too soon to discuss the movie.
Jackson explained via his Facebook page, "Bad news is that we won't be doing any Hobbit presentation. (Studios) New Line and Warner Bros. were very happy to support a presentation, but I declined, simply because I felt it was too early. There's so much more of the films still to shoot."
More that 120,000 people were hoping to discover some further information about the Lord Of The Rings prequel but with The Hobbit still in the early stages of filming, Peter felt there wasn’t enough to discuss. The Hobbit is set to be released on December 14, 2012.
