Known for being a brilliant rapper when he first began showing off his skills in clubs and on radio in the east of London, Tinchy Stryder was always destined to be a big star. He slowly developed his rapping style to fit in with the emerging Grime sound that was being pioneered by the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Wiley in the UK. He always wanted to make a name for himself, either as a footballer, a film maker or a musician.
He has now conquered the music charts and released his debut album in the year 2007, followed with a selection of singles and album follow-ups. He has also worked with the well-known band N-dubs and produced the chart topping hit 'Number 1', which went to number 6 in the hot 100 charts.
The artist is now currently working on his business career and has a part in many ventures including that of the music industry. He has worked for Goji electronics to develop a line of headphones, and has developed a wish to buy the Scottish football team 'Rangers FC'. He has also worked with the automobile company Honda and maintains his place as chairman in his own business company 'Takeover entertainment'.
Above all else, Tinchy Stryder aims to be a good role model to his younger fans. He grew up and still lives in a rough borough of East London and wishes to stay close to his roots. He maintains a positive outlook on life and hopes to inspire others to reach their full potential in the world of music, sports and art.
