The Little Mix seems to get compared more and more often to Girls Aloud these days. However, according to them, they don’t have a problem with it at all. The X Factor winners are about release their album DNA mid-November, just in time for Girls Aloud to release their new songs. However, despite the competition and the nature of the music industry, Little Mix says not only do they not want to compete with Girls Aloud, but they actually look up to them.

Jesse of Little Mix tells MTV UK, "We get this question a lot but we don’t see them as competition. I just think we are completely different groups. Even when people compare us to Girls Aloud it’s such a compliment because they have had such a huge career and I don’t think there’s competition at all. We really look up to them."
They also praised Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts after working with her on their track ‘Going Nowhere’, which appear in the DNA album. They say, "We are really lucky to have such amazing girlbands on the album. We’ve worked with Nicola Roberts on Going Nowhere and she's lovely."
Jade agreed and said, "She’s very talented and working with her was really relaxing. She gave us advice about being in a girlband. We would love to work with her again." Jesy continued, "She’s got a very similar taste in music to us so it was really easy to work with her. She wrote one of our favourite songs."
