Tom Hanks has been in some of the most successful movies ever made including Forrest Gump, Cast Away and of course the Toy Story series. However, Tom doesn’t expect to stop there, with an incredible 20 possible movies currently in development and two films currently in production.
Hanks has already released one movie this year, the romantic comedy Larry Crowne with Julia Roberts, and he is currently filming the Stephen Daldry movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Sandra Bullock. That movie is expected to be released in the US on December 30.
Although he has 20 movies on the development table, he will not be starring in all of those, as he turns his hand more to the producing side of movies. The stand out movie, which is currently in development is the film The Lost Symbol, which would see Tom reprise his role of Robert Langdon but it is not yet known if the movie will definitely be made.
Dan Brown is currently writing the screenplay adaptation of his novel and with the success of the first two movies, The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons, it is pretty much a dead cert to be made. However, stranger things have happened, so watch this space.
