It seems that Tiger Woods is slowly but surely returning to somewhere near his best, winning his first USPGA event in over two years. Tiger won the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the weekend by five shots, showing the resilience of the old Tiger Woods.

Tiger led, going into the final day on Sunday, by one shot over Graeme McDowell and a few people questioned whether he would be able to hold onto his lead. Woods was four up on McDowell in the Chevron World Challenge back in 2010 but managed to throw it away.
However, this time around, Tiger showed his dominance of old, where people would never even dream of him being caught. Woods finished his final round with a two under par, 70, giving him his first PGA Tour title since September 2009.

It is the perfect preparation for Tiger Woods, as he heads to Augusta for The Masters, which begins next Thursday. If Tiger Woods can continue his steady progress, he will certainly be one of the favourites for The Masters and hopefully return to his former greatness as the year goes on.
