Danielle Knudson was interviewed by BT Television Toronto during which she discussed the recent announcement that GUESS Girl had selected her as their face for the 2014 spring campaign as well as her modelling goal and how she was discovered. In what was a very enlightening interview Danielle Knudson explained that she was actually "discovered at the age of eight years old at a silent auction" but did not truly start modelling until the age of 15 because she was not really interested when she was young.
Danielle Knudson when she started modelling did not start small as one of her first jobs was in Tokyo, Japan which many would consider a nice start to a modelling career for someone who had yet to be able to receive a driver's licence. The BT Television host Dina Pugliese and race car guest host James Hinchcliffe loved the fact that despite her being a model she grew up a tomboy in Red Deer, Alberta who enjoys winter sports and loves driving on her all-terrain vehicle on her stepfather's ranch.
In the interview with BT Television Danielle Knudson noted how the GUESS Girl modelling contract actually occurred while she was on another assignment. Her agents called her and asked her to quickly take a picture of herself wearing jeans so they could send it to GUESS and within 48 hours she had become the 2014 face of the GUESS Girl spring campaign.
Interestingly during the interview Danielle Knudson expressed her desire to one day become "the cover model for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Magazine Issue" and when one considers how great she looked in her GUESS jeans and shirt on BT Television, the new "Canadian Tuxedo" one can definitely imagine that she could be the first Canadian model to earn the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Magazine.
Look out for Danielle Knudson as this model is on the path to becoming a supermodel.
