Who would have thought it all those years ago, back in the early 90’s that the young boy who helped to make us laugh on 3rd Rock from the Sun would have gone on to be one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood. However, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has done just that.
It is unclear when that cute kid, who seemed at one stage to be stuck forever in teen comedies, actually became the acting force that he is today. Yet there is no doubting his acting ability, as he can perform serious roles just as good, if not better, than the comedy ones.
His performance in the 2010 hit movie Inception was simply outstanding and he has once again teamed up with Christopher Nolan for the Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises. It is pretty clear that Joseph has made a good impression with Nolan and that can only benefit his career, which is going from strength to strength.
Before The Dark Knight Rises hits the screen, we have the comedy 50/50, where he stars as a cancer patient dealing with the ups and downs of his illness. Yet it can only be a matter of time before he gets a crack at the lead role in a Hollywood blockbuster. He truly deserves it. 50/50 hits the big screen in the US on September 30 before hitting the UK on January 6, 2012.
