The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford has thanked her fans for supporting her through her tough time battling depression. Frankie admitted that revealing the truth behind her illness was not the easiest thing to do but she was extremely grateful for her fans understanding and support.

Sandford explained, "Opening up and talking about something so personal wasn't easy, but I wanted to set the record straight and share my story in the hope that it will encourage other people suffering from the condition to get help."
She added, "I'm now proud to front the MIND campaign for better mental health. If you or someone you care about is suffering from depression and you would like to get help or advice, then visit the website at www.mind.org.uk/campaigns."

Frankie continued, "For the record, I want you all to know how much your love and support has meant to me. Saturdays fans rock!" The Saturdays are set to premiere their latest single 30 Days on the Chris Moyles Show on BBC Radio 1, later today.
Frankie Sandford was one of the first people to congratulate her The Saturdays bandmate Una Healy, who gave birth to her first child earlier this month.
