British girlband The Saturdays are trying to follow in the footsteps of British boyband One Direction, by making a name for themselves in the US. The Saturdays are taking an alternative route in America, by having their own reality television series Chasing The Saturdays, rather than simply relying on their music.

The Saturdays show off their red noses for Comic Relief
Chasing The Saturdays was an idea that the girls came up with themselves and they pitched the idea to E! who picked the show up. The Saturdays have now been talking about the show and praising The Kardashians, for being brave enough to share their whole lives with the world.
The Saturdays were on ITV's This Morning, when they explained, "It was initially our idea... we were going to America anyway and we had this idea and pitched it to loads of different networks and were really lucky that E! wanted it."

Mollie King then added, "We know how much E! like to see, so we were like 'we really will have to show everything'... We are different to the Kardashian's because we are obviously a girl band trying to break America and they are a family doing their own thing, and they are huge so if we could have any kind or a little bit of their success, we'd be very happy!"
The next episode of Chasing The Saturdays airs on E! on March 3 and will be titled #KeepCalmAndSatsOn
