Although the Twilight Saga has never been known for being a critically acclaimed franchise, it reached new levels of being publicly scorned with its later films. Now, the latest and last film in the franchise, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II’ has won the Razzie for Worst Picture, with Bill Condon also winning Worst Director for the same film and Kristen Stewart winning Worst Actress as well.

However, Robert Pattinson was spared the title of Worst Actor, which instead went to Adam Sandler for ‘That’s My Boy’. Taylor Lautner did get Worst Supporting Actor for Breaking Dawn: Part II, and Worst Screen Ensemble also went to the humorously titled, ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipsed Part II’.
Worst Screenplay again went to Sandler’s ‘That’s My Boy’, but Worst Screen Couple went to the pairing of Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black and Mackenzie Foy’s Renesmee. Finally, Breaking Dawn Part II also ended up winning Worst Sequel, making it one of the most ‘honored’ films at the Razzies in recent years.

While most of these awards seem to be part of the backlash the Twilight films have received over the past few years, it’s largely unfair due to the number of movies that were far worse received than this film.
