It has been reported that two of the biggest vampire shows on television are set to join forces for a one off crossover episode. The Vampire Diaries and True Blood could be considered rivals considering they are both about vampires and now it seems like they are set to do just that.
A crossover episode of The Vampire Diaries and True Blood is currently being planned. The episode will see those bickering in their respective show having to come together and make peace to take on their new rival, with the vampires from each show set to go head to head.
An insider explained, “People have been talking about trying to get this done for a long time now but because The Vampire Diaries is a CW show and True Blood is HBO, it has been very difficult. The plan is to have a two part special, with the first part being shown on HBO and the second part shown on The CW.”
The insider went on to admit that, if the episode is as big a hit as it is expected to be, then there could be future crossover episodes between The Vampire Diaries and True Blood. Who will you be cheering for in the battle of the vampires?
