Hit The CW show The Vampire Diaries airs tonight, with an episode about the high school prom. Now, a number of members of the cast and crew have been talking about tonight's episode, admitting that they are very excited for fans to see it.

Holt took to her official Twitter account to say, "#TVD tonight! I finally made it to a high school dance. I also fulfilled my Disney Princess fantasies (so basically the best ep ever)." Meanwhile, plenty of other The Vampire Diaries insiders were equally as excited.
Steven R. McQueen, who played Jeremy in the show, tweeted, "Tonight would be a good episode of The Vampire Diaries to watch ; )," while Nina Dobrev added, "The Vampire Diaries Prom tonight. It only happens once - you don't want to miss it :) 8pm CW."

The Vampire Diaries season four continues on The CW with tonight's episode, which centres around the high school prom. Meanwhile The CW has renewed The Vampire Diaries for a fifth season, which is set to premiere on The CW later in the year.
