There have been a lot of successful shows over the years and, in recent years, a number of these shows have centred on the subject of vampires. One of the biggest and most successful of these would have to be the hit The CW series The Vampire Diaries, which recently aired its 100th episode.
Actress Kayla Ewell played the role of Vicki in The Vampire Diaries, appearing on and off in 15 episodes over the years. While her character was killed off in the show, Vicki has still popped up from time to time and Kayla says that she believes her character will forever be a constant influence.
Ewell explained, "She's in a parallel world or something. Of course she's been watching from The Other Side. I think Vicki always watches Matt no matter what. I know that the character of Vicki is always kind of misunderstood. But underneath it all, there's really good intentions. She would absolutely help her brother."
As for her career outside of The Vampire Diaries, Kayla Ewell has gone on to appear in plenty of other television and movie projects over the years. Next up for Kayla is a role in the television movie Where Fates Meet, which co-stars Christy Carlson Romano and is expected to air later in the year.
Meanwhile, The Vampire Diaries season five continues to air on The CW on Thursday evenings, with the next episode airing tonight (February 6).
