Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is one of the judges on the hit reality television singing competition The Voice. The show is the main rival for American Idol and Adam Levine has been talking about the two shows, having a little bit of a dig at American Idol in the process.
While Adam said that he did not want to get involved in a discussion about American Idol and would rather focus on The Voice, he did manage to get a sneaky dig in. He stated that the coaches on The Voice would never get involved in any feuds, like that of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.
Levine told Entertainment Weekly, "We don't get involved in stupid s**t like that" "what's the point? we love our show At one point Idol was getting bigger ratings than we've ever gotten. So we don't think about that when we make our show. We think about making our show as good as it could possibly be."
You can catch Adam Levine, along with his fellow coaches Usher, Shakira and Blake Shelton, when The Voice airs on NBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c.
