The Voice coach Christina Aguilera has had a little bit of a dig at rival reality singing competition The X Factor. Christina claims that, while shows like The X Factor seem intent on breaking people’s hearts and dreams just to win ratings, The Voice actually focuses on the talent at hand.

Aguilera told Metro, “We're not there [on The Voice] to bash talent. We're not here to tear people down just for ratings or just for fun or just to make ourselves look good.” Christina also admitted that she was a huge fan of the way that The Voice has the blind auditions, as it focuses solely on the singing talent rather than image.
She added, “The whole concept of the blind auditions is truly genius. There are no stereotypes that you can judge someone on, other than their genuine talent and raw vocal skill.”

While Christina Aguilera is clearly a huge fan of The Voice and loves being a coach on the show, she has recently admitted that there is a chance that she may not return to the show once the fourth season is over next year. Cee Lo Green is also leaving the show, with Shakira and Usher confirmed as the replacement coaches.
