There has been a huge debate about the gun laws in the US since the Newtown massacre but while the politicians try to figure out a way to stop this ever happening again, The Voice has taken its time to remember those who lost their lives and paid tribute to them.
The Voice honoured the memory of the 27 people who were killed in the massacre, by opening the latest episode with a rendition of Hallelujah. The four coaches on The Voice, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, each sang a verse of the song.
Also on the stage with the coaches, were all of the contestants from this season of The Voice, who joined in with the chorus of Hallelujah. Every single person on the stage was holding up a sign, each with a different name of a person who was murdered.
It is difficult to understand how such a tragedy could ever happen and how a human being could commit such an horrific crime. It is now down to the US government to make sure that nothing like this can ever happen ever again. Check out the video of The Voice tribute below and be warned, it is rather emotional.
