As with all Hollywood blockbusters, it does not take long for the rumours to begin, once it has been announced that a movie is being made. Earlier this month, it was claimed that the long anticipated World of Warcraft movie is finally going to be getting made and the rumours surrounding the film have already begun.

Back when the World of Warcraft film was previously supposed to be getting made, there was talk of Mila Kunis starring in the movie and that Liam Neeson would also have a cameo appearance. This time around the names linked to the World of Warcraft movie are just as big, if not bigger.
It has been claimed that Johnny Depp is being lined up to star as the male lead in the World of Warcraft movie. Now, it is expected that the film will cost well over $100m to make, so a big name star is definetly going to be needed to draw in the big crowd and it seems that Warner Bros. believe that Depp will do just that.

One slight issue with the World of Warcraft film is the release date, which has been tentatively set for 2015, as this is already proving to be a very competitive year, with the likes of The Avengers 2, Justice League, Star Wars: Episode VII and the final instalment of The Hunger Games. Therefore, do not be surprised to see the release date moved to 2016 to benefit everyone involved.
