It has been a very long time since we first heard about the possibility of there being a World Of Warcraft movie and since then there have been a number of key points. Fans were delighted to hear that Legendary Pictures would be pushing the movie forward and things began to take shape.
A script was being written and they had even hired director Sam Raimi to helm the project, getting World Of Warcraft fans around the world very excited. However, things have been very quiet in recent months and it looked as if the World Of Warcraft movie was dead.
Now it seems that Legendary Pictures are fully intent on pushing forward with the World Of Warcraft movie and have even made a few adjustments to keep things moving. Many fans were upset to hear that Sam Raimi was no longer attached to the project but for some, that was good news.
A lot of people did not feel that Sam Raimi was the right choice to adapt the World Of Warcraft universe to the big screen and now Legendary Pictures are in the hunt for a new director. Meanwhile, Charles Leavitt‘s (The Seventh Son, Blood Diamond) is working on a script for the World Of Warcraft movie and Legendary Pictures are said to be delighted with his progress.
With that said, expect there to be a number of new rumours in the coming months regarding the new director and who is being cast in what role. It is difficult to tell when the World Of Warcraft movie will finally hit the big screen but we cannot see it happening before 2016.
