Simon Cowell has revealed that he will be doing all that he can to get the final of The X Factor 2011 moved to London’s Wembley Arena. The X Factor final currently takes place in the Fountain Studios, which has a capacity of 300 but Simon Cowell is believed to be ordering that it be moved to the 12,500 capacity arena.
A source explained, "There may have been some concerns about the change in the judging panel, but viewers will forget all of that when they see the new-look show and final. We are very excited about making it bigger and better - with a bigger venue, bigger-name guests and more audience members and celebrities than ever before."
Simon Cowell is no longer on the judging panel for the UK version of The X Factor but it is believed that he will be attending the final, which is scheduled for the weekend of December 10 and 11. The new judging panel of Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland will continue with auditions in Cardiff tomorrow.
