Louis Walsh has been the longest serving member of the judging panel on the UK singing competition The X Factor but it appears that there is someone waiting in the wings to replace the Irishman. Former X Factor contestant Olly Murs, who currently presents The Xtra Factor, has admitted that he would love to have a go as a judge, should the opportunity arrive.
Olly explained to Heart West Midlands, "Who's going to replace Louis? That's a big question! After he has been there for such a long time and done such amazing work. I mean, it's a job a lot of people will want to take.”
Murs then joked, “Maybe they will take someone who's been on The X Factor, done really well in their career successfully, and take someone like that to do it. I don't know who that could be, it could be anyone."
The X Factor returned to ITV last Saturday with the judging panel seeing the new face of Nicole Scherzinger who has replaced Kelly Rowland on the show. Olly Murs recently admitted that he fancied Nicole but admitted that he could not compete with her F1 boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
