The X Factor creator Simon Cowell has revealed that he is impressed with how well and professionally Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul have responded since being axed from The X Factor USA. Simon claims that the reasons for their departure was now way negative on their performance and hopes to work with both of them again in the future.
Cowell explained, "I spoke to Paula on the night it was announced. I was going to speak to Nicole that night but we were on different time zones and couldn't actually speak ourselves. They have both been incredibly gracious and respectful and I feel the same way about them. They are friends. There were certain reasons why the changes were made. Our shows always have to change and evolve over the years and this particular time it was decided to do it sooner rather than later."
He added, "It wasn't anything negative about them. I think there are huge opportunities for us working with them in different areas over the years and I'm not just saying that, I actually think it will happen." Simon Cowell himself and LA Reid are the only two judges who will be returning for The X Factor USA season two, with a number of stars being linked to the two spare seats at the judges table.
