Salma Hayek has an interview with More Magazine’ October issue to promote her recently released ‘Savages’ as well as the upcoming ‘Here Comes the Boom’ with Kevin James.
In it, Hayek talks about marriage and children, and how her life has changed from both. When talking about her marriage, Hayek says, “I didn’t think marriage worked. I thought everybody who was married was secretly miserable – that it was something they just put up with for their children.” However, she says her marriage changed her mind - “I have a master of decision-making helping me out, so of course my life and my career are better,” she explains. “I really enjoy having somebody that I can be weak with. If I’m insecure or afraid, I can talk about it, and he’ll give me strength and courage. With us, there’s no power struggle. I don’t mind doing things for him because he does so much for me, and he feels the same way.”

She also adds that she has text messages that ‘would surprise’ people, and adds, “I can show you a thousand things. But I’m not going to.”
Here Comes the Boom releases in October, and is about a school teacher (played by James) who turns to boxing to win money for his school.
