There was once a time when it seemed that Tulisa Contostavlos could do no wrong and she was considered to be a bit of a golden girl among the British public. She was enjoying a successful spell as a judge on the hit television series The X Factor, which led to her going on to enjoy further success with her solo music career but everything has come crashing down on the star.
It seems like it all stems from the Tulisa Contostavlos sex tape, which showed the singer performing a sex act on her then boyfriend. This eventually led to Tulisa being axed from The X Factor, while her music career began to slip, which then led to her having a few issues in her personal life.
The most recent issue that Tulisa Contostavlos has faced is the assault conviction, following an altercation with Savvas Morgan at the V Festival last year. Tulisa has then appealed against the conviction and it has now been confirmed that she has failed in her attempts to get it over turned.
This week, Judge David Radford told the court, "We find she was not calm, this was a lack of self-control - the reasons, we understand - and for a brief moment, we find that she did strike Mr Morgan, before very speedily the incident was brought to an end."
Following the original trial, Tulisa Contostavlos was fined £200, was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, and £100 compensation, as well as £2,700 costs. It is hard to see where her career can go from here!
