It has been reported that some of the biggest names in golf are set to compete in a one handed event, which is currently being called The One Handed Golf Tournament. It is expected that, if it is received well, it could become an annual event on the golf calendar.

Some of the names set to appear in the first ever One Handed Golf Tournament include Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald. The One Handed Golf Tournament is set to take place a few weeks after this year’s Masters, which begins on Thursday, April 5.
The rules of one handed golf are simple, you can only use one hand to take your shots with. However, you get three shots per round where you are allowed to use two hands, to help you get out of those tricky spots or to help judge those monster putts.

It is not yet known what course will be holding the first One Handed Golf Tournament but it is expected that it will be held in the US. The early favourite to take the title as the first winner of the One Handed Golf Tournament is Robert Allenby, who has been playing one handed golf for years.
