When Tiger Woods dropped all the way down to World Number 58 and seemed to be on a complete downward spiral, it seemed difficult to see him pulling it back round. However, Tiger has proven that you cannot keep a great man down and he is back at World Number 1 and aiming to win The Masters this week, which would be his first major in four years.
Tiger says that the reason he is back at the top, where he belongs, is because he has managed to find the right balance in his life, which is in no small part, down to his relationship with American skier Lindsey Vonn.
BBC Sport quote Woods as saying, "I feel very balanced. Life is all about having a balance, and trying to find equilibrium and not getting things one way or the other. I feel comfortable with every aspect of my game. I feel that I've improved and I've got more consistent, and I think the wins show that."
He added, "That's something that I'm proud of so far this year, and hopefully I can continue it this week and the rest of the year. We have very expansive careers and I feel like I'm basically right in the middle of mine. I have a lot of good years ahead of me and I'm excited about this week."
The Masters starts this Thursday, with the final round taking place on Sunday. Tiger Woods is the favourite to win the event but who do you think will win the Masters 2013?
