Although Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were big hits at the Golden Globe Award, Tina has ruled out any possibility of them hosting the Oscars in 2014.

Tina Fey refuses to host the Oscars
Despite the fact that ‘Tina and Amy’ were mentioned in the William Shatner segment of the Oscars opening monologue, with Shatner quoting that ‘everyone wants Tina and Amy’ to host the Oscars, it was viewed more as a joke than anything serious. Of course, Seth MacFarlane went on to earn terrible reviews for his lackluster performance, and everyone was soon clamoring for Tina and Amy to actually host the 2014 Oscars.
Alas, she’s definitely not interested and she explains, “It's an honor to be 'Shatnered.’ [But] I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone . . . No way."

Tina Fey and Paul Rudd filming 'Admission'
Even without the added pressure of prepping for an event like that [and trust us, prepping for the Oscars takes up months of your time], Fey has quite a busy schedule ahead of her. She is currently promoting ‘Admission’ with Paul Rudd, and then she will go into production for the new Steve Carell movie ‘Mail Order Groom’ as well as start prepping for the ‘Muppets’ movie.
