There are a lot of talented rappers out there these days and British rapper Tinchy Stryder has been working hard at his music career for the past few years now and is finally beginning to get the recognition that his hard work and dedication deserves. Tinchy has spent the past few months working on his new album, which will land later in the year.
Tinchy Stryder has been putting together a some new songs for the new record and he has spoken about how he has changed and developed as an artist over the past few years. Tinchy says that he has become much pickier with his songs and, if he had to choose someone who has inspired his new album, it would have to be the US hip hop star Kendrick Lamar.
Stryder told BANG! Showbiz, "It's going really good, I would say the album is finished but it's never finished! A couple of days ago I went to the studio to record a new track. This time I'm being more picky. Even if a song is good, if it doesn't fit with the rest, it's out. Someone who has really inspired me is Kendrick Lamar. Not many albums I can listen to start to finish, his are like a journey. This album might be my fourth, but it feels like people are just are getting to know me. I'm starting to open to up."
With Tinchy Stryder preparing to release some new songs, we can also expect some new music videos from the singer but do not expect him to follow the route of sexualising women in his music videos. Tinchy says that he respects women and will show that in his videos.
