It has been reported that three of Hollywood’s top actors, Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, as set to team up for two movies about animal poaching and trafficking. The three actors will be teaming up with Warner Bros. to make the movies.

One of the films will look at the issues of animal poaching, while the other will focus on trafficking, as Tom, Leo and Tobey bring together their production companies to make the movies. Executive Options (Hardy), Appian Way (DiCaprio) and Material Pictures (Maguire).
Both movies have yet to be given a title but the first is set to be written by Sheldon Turner, who is adapting an idea that Tom Hardy had. Tom will play a special forces soldier who is given the task of training rangers to defend against the poachers who are picking off the elephant and rhino populations in Zimbabwe.

The second movie is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire and will centre around the problems with animals being slaughtered and stripped and then being bought for big money in places such as China. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire have been friends for years and Tom Hardy decided to join them after discovering that they had similar interests on the subjects.
There is no release date yet put in place for either movie but it is likely that they will be released in either 2014 or 2015. Watch this space.
