It has been reported that three of Hollywood’s top actors, Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, as set to team up for two movies about animal poaching and trafficking. The three actors will be teaming up with Warner Bros. to make the movies.
One of the films will look at the issues of animal poaching, while the other will focus on trafficking, as Tom, Leo and Tobey bring together their production companies to make the movies. Executive Options (Hardy), Appian Way (DiCaprio) and Material Pictures (Maguire).
Both movies have yet to be given a title but the first is set to be written by Sheldon Turner, who is adapting an idea that Tom Hardy had. The second movie is set to star Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire and will centre around the problems with animals being slaughtered and stripped and then being bought for big money in places such as China. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire have been friends for years and Tom Hardy decided to join them after discovering that they had similar interests on the subjects.
