Tom Hardy recorded his interview for The Jonathan Ross Show, which is set to air on Saturday, and there has been a lot of negativity towards Tom after he walked off stage following the revelation of an old modelling photo. One disgruntled audience member even complained that Tom refused to answer any questions regarding The Dark Knight Rises. Now, Tom Hardy has spoken out to defend his actions.
Hardy explained, "No one on the Batman unit can utter a word about the film. Me and Jonny were messing around. I'm sorry if people got the wrong impression and feel that I was an a**hole. If people want a good laugh at me desperately trying to get up the ladder, tell them to watch Minotaur. That's a pile of s***."
He added, "I heard that someone thinks I was really genuinely upset with Jonathan Ross. Not at all. It was funny as hell and embarrassing yes, but I was in on the gag and winding Jonathan up to put him in an awkward seat for a laugh.” Jonathan Ross has previously defended Tom Hardy for the prank, praising the Hollywood star for his acting ability.
