English actor Tom Hardy has revealed that he is not concerned about the issue of Bane mumbling in the forthcoming Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises. There have been a lot of concerns raised following the prologue, as it is very difficult to understand what Bane is saying but Tom insists that, as long as director Christopher Nolan is happy, then he too is happy.
Hardy explained, "Not at all. I trust [director] Christopher Nolan implicitly. I'm not worried at all about people understanding him mumbling away.” He then continued by adding, “But I have seen some brilliant stuff online about my mumbling, 'Mmmm ... Batman doesn't beat up retards!,' which I thought was very funny. I enjoyed that."
As well as Tom Hardy portraying Bane, The Dark Knight Rises also stars Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Caine as Alfred and of course Christian Bale as Batman. The Dark Knight Rises will be the third and final Batman instalment from Christopher Nolan and is set to be released in both the US and the UK on July 20, 2012.
