There has been a lot of talk about the future of the James Bond movie franchise, with a lot of speculation as to the future of actor Daniel Craig playing 007 in the next James Bond film. Since Daniel hinted that it could be time to call it a day, there have been plenty of new names being linked to the iconic role, with some very interesting ideas for what could come next.
One of the names being suggested as a possible replacement for Daniel Craig as James Bond, is fellow British Hollywood superstar Tom Hiddleston, who would certainly bring a huge amount of fans support with him. Tom has now opened up about the possibility of playing James Bond in the future, admitting that it would be an opportunity he would not be able to turn down.
Hiddleston was chatting to The Sunday Times, when he admitted, "Time magazine ran a poll and there were like, 100 actors on the list, including Angelina Jolie. But yes, it’s nice to be included in the 100. I’m a huge fan of the series."
He added, "We all went to see Spectre when we were shooting Skull Island in Hawaii. I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology. I love the whole thing. If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity. I'm very aware of the physicality of the job. I would not take it lightly."
With that said, Daniel Craig has yet to officially confirm when he will step down as James Bond, so we will have to just wait and see what his next move is.
