One such happy gamer stated, "It's actually really cool seeing her get absolutely battered and learn to toughen up and see what made her who she is now." And it seems that those in charge of the Tomb Raider movie agree, as they are planning to sync the new movie with the new game.
Head of studio at Crystal Dynamics, Darrell Gallagher, told Variety, "They are working from this new take that we’ve given them. It’s a good partnership. We’re seeing the challenges through the same lens. It was important for both of us to have a cohesive version of the franchise. We didn’t want to see a film version that was a continuation of the old Tomb Raider films."

The Tomb Raider movie reboot is currently being penned by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, the guys behind the Iron Man movie, with Graham King on board to produce. There is no director yet attached or a leading lady but, to stick with the game link, could we see Camilla Luddington starring as Lara Croft?
