So we are almost there, almost at the end of our top 10 list of video games that are being adapted for the big screen, by becoming movies. We have seen some interesting planned projects so far, including the planned Assassin's Creed movie, but today brings us to one of the most eagerly anticipated video games to movies ever planned.

World of Warcraft is becoming a movie
World of Warcraft is one of the biggest video games to ever be released, with millions of players from all over the world, so it was expected that they would one day decide to make it into a movie. There have been talks of a World of Warcraft movie for years now but it finally seems like making it to the big screen.
Over the years, we have heard many rumours about the World of Warcraft movie, with some top Hollywood names being linked to roles in the film, such as Mila Kunis, Liam Neeson and Johnny Depp. Unfortunately, there have been no official casting rumours yet but we are hopeful of some big names being involved.

Mila Kunis has been linked to a role
The World of Warcraft movie is simply being titled Warcraft and the screenplay has been written by Charles Leavitt, based on the characters developed by Chris Metzen. Warcraft will be directed by Duncan Jones (Moon), with production set to begin next year and a release date planned for 2015.
