The Only Way Is Essex star James Argent has revealed that he has a soft spot for 16 year old X Factor contestant Ella Henderson. James admits that he is a huge fan of Ella’s and has become quite close with her but does concede that she is a bit too young for him.

Arg explained to Digital Spy, “I'm a big Ella fan and we've been tweeting each other a bit, but unfortunately she's too young for me. I was talking to Mark [Wright] about it at the gym. I said I think Ella's lovely, she's an amazing singer - and I think I'd like to be with a singer.”
He added, “But it's the first time me and Mark have both ever stood there and felt old, because we've never had to say, 'Oh no, she's too young for you'. It's weird. It feels like I'm growing up. Ella's lovely, but she's only 16 and way too young for me.”

The Only Way Is Essex recently completed its seventh season and will be back on television screens again shortly. Meanwhile, The X Factor continues every weekend on ITV, with the live shows on Saturday nights and the results show on Sunday.
