Shia LaBeouf has once again had a sly little dig at his former Transformers co star Megan Fox, by saying that her sacking from Transformers: Dark of the Moon was actually a blessing. Michael Bay sacked Megan Fox on the instruction of Steven Spielberg, after Megan made some derogatory comments about Bay.
LaBeouf said, "I love Megan. She was great in the movies she was in, fun to work with, great energy, great personality. But it's kind of a blessing that she wasn't in this movie. In the second movie, [Sam and Mikaela] became one character. There was no arc. There was no room for Sam to be heroic. They were sharing the same experience."
Shia LaBeouf and Michael Bay have both confirmed that they will not be returning for a fourth instalment of Transformers, with Shia stating that he sees Michael Bay as a brother. Transformers: Dark of the Moon had its UK premiere at the weekend and will hit US cinemas on June 29.
