In a recent interview, 32-year-old Trinidadian model Teresa Lourenco said that her once saturated agenda didn't grant her enough free time to experience a normal day; the constant airplane and hotel hopping made her feel empty within, but Teresa learned to prioritize her comfort when she gave birth to her daughter Lourenco Noel in the summer of 2010.
This exotic looking woman who has modeled the runways of many premier designers such as Gianfranco Ferre, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Oscar De la Renta, Salvatore Ferragamo and many others—says that even though her hectic career had exciting time-periods, the emotion of loneliness soon caught on to her. Now that Teresa has a daughter, she believes motherhood has changed her life for the better; she is joyful and more settled.
Lourenco also says that she didn’t comprehend what "unconditional love" meant until she conceived Noel, who is now 3 years old. This model is planning on supporting Noel in anything she wants to accomplish in life—even if she wants to become a fashion model; it’s a difficult industry, but has its good things too.
For the first two years after giving birth, Mrs. Lourenco was a full-time mom. But last year, she decided to make a comeback as a part-time model. And now she can be seen advertising different designer goods in a handful of international magazines.
