Trudie Styler is the second wife of the famous musician Sting. Yet in her own right, Trudie Styler is also a producer (Xingu Films), an actress (13 movies and guest starring in/writing an episode of Friends), a humanitarian, a philanthropist, an environmentalist, and an advocate for and patron of numerous causes.
Trudie's latest movie as an actress was A Dish of Tea with Dr. Johnson in 2011. She last produced the film Moon in 2009. Her production company, Xingo Films, continues to support new talent in the acting and producing arenas.
Trudie is an avid support and publicist of the foundation she and Sting founded in 1989 for the protection of the environment, The Rainforest Foundation. She is a patron of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. She has been known to donate large sums of money to private cancer and other worthy funds.
Lately, Trudie can be found contemplating leaving England (with Sting). She sights unfair press treatment as her reason. Trudie was found guilty of unfair treatment of and dismissal of her pregnant chef (the press listing Trudie as displaying 'shameful conduct' towards her servants).
The press is also hounding her for having conflicting interests, stating that, while Trudie feels oil companies are ruining the environment, she uses private jets and helicopters for very short trips. Trudie says this is "class envy". Perhaps the Mrs. Sting has a sting all to herself.
