True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard teases Eric and Bill bromance
True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Eric Northman in the hit HBO vampire television series, has hinted at the forthcoming bromance between his character Eric and Bill, who is played by Stephen Moyer. Alexander stated that they had only recently started filming for season five of True Blood but that a bromance between the two is already beginning to form.
Skarsgard explained, "We call it season of the bromance. We just started filming and we're on episode four of season five." He then went on to discuss the fact that he and Stephen Moyer have a lot of scenes together in season five, as Eric becomes more intrigued by bill. Alexander added, "I have a lot with Steve this year... Eric is very intrigued by Bill now."
True Blood season five has signed up a number of new stars for the show, including Peter Mensah and Christopher Meloni. True Blood season four is currently airing in the UK on FX at 10pm on Sundays. Meanwhile, True Blood season five is expected to premiere in the US on HBO, with June 24 currently being tipped as the release date.
