True Blood actor Ryan Kwanten, who plays Jason Stackhouse in the hit HBO vampires series, has revealed how he was embarrassed at being turned away from an Oscars after party. Jason got suited and booted for the biggest Hollywood event of the year but was rejected by a top Hollywood club.
Ryan was out on the town with a friend, when he made his way to top Hollywood joint Craig's to get in the post Oscars party mood. However, once he arrived there, Ryan and his friends found themselves being turned away by the bouncers on the door.
Kwanten pleaded with the doormen to let him into the party, insisting that the owner of the club had sent him a personal invite but it was to no avail. After about five minutes of trying to convince the bouncers that he had been invited to the party, Ryan finally gave up and moved on.
Ryan Kwanten made sure that he did not get dressed up for nothing though, as he was also spotted at the Elton John AIDS Foundation party. He may be embarrassed by the whole incident now but we are sure he will get over it in no time, but not until his True Blood co-stars have ribbed him about it some.
