There have been plenty of rumours floating around regarding the future of the judging panel on The X Factor, with Tulisa Contostavlos said to be one of the victims next year. However, Tulisa has vowed to fight her corner, admitting that she would never quite the show and is always there for her contestants.
Tulisa explained, “I would never quit the show. At the end of the day, I’ve got to where I am as a solo artist with The X Factor. I’m not saying musically my music wasn’t good enough. I still believe Young would have gone to No.1 but the way that I have been blown out of proportion is fully down to The X Factor and I am grateful for that and I would never bite the hand that feeds you.”
She added, “Ella really wants to pursue her career and spend the next few months in London. I said to her I want her to stay with me at my house whenever she’s in London. There’s more of a family environment, she’s only 16 and I don’t want her staying in hotels. She can stay with me at my house with me and Gareth [her PA].”
It has been suggested that Tulisa Contostavlos will be replaced on The X Factor next year with former judge Cheryl Cole, while there have also been rumours that Kylie Minogue could be on the judging panel next year.
The X Factor continues on ITV this weekend, with the live show airing on the Saturday and the results show coming on the Sunday.
