The X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed that she regrets losing her virginity at the age of 14.
At the time, the former N-Dubz singer was seeing a 17-year-old drug dealer, who she admits she 'became quite obsessed with'.
The pair used to sit in his car talking and kissing - until one day they decided to go a step further.
'After about eight months, [he] drove me to a little bed and breakfast hotel in Kentish town,' says Tulisa, now 24.
'[He] didn't ask me if I was ready to take that step or if I was OK with what was happening. He just went ahead and undressed me and we had sex. Afterwards, I felt slightly numb. Was that it?'
After that experience, Tulisa admits that she had 'too many boys too soon'.
She says that if she hadn't found fame her life would have taken a very different course.
'I regret losing my innocence so early. If I hadn't been saved by music, I'd most likely be living with a drug dealer on a council estate,' Tulisa writes in her autobiography 'Honest'.
'I can still count on my fingers and toes the number of guys I've slept with. A good percentage of those encounters happened between the ages of 14 and 17 and that felt like a lot, even at the time.'
