It has been reported that Twilight actor Charlie Bewley has signed up to appear in the hit vampire television series The Vampire Diaries. The 31 year old star appeared in the Twilight films as the vampire Demetri, so is no stranger to a vampire series.

According to TV Guide, Charlie will appear in the last two episodes of the latest season of The Vampire Diaries. It is said that Bewley will be playing a character named Vaughn, who is described as mysterious, rugged and tough.
Charlie Bewley will first appear as Vaughn in the fourteenth episode of season four of The Vampire Diaries and will also star in the season finale. It is believed that his character may well be extended past these two episodes and be seen again in future seasons of the show.

The Vampire Diaries season four continues to air on The CW in the US, while it also airs in the UK on ITV2. Meanwhile, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is currently out now and is taking the box office by storm.
