Digital Spy reports that studio insiders are saying that Twilight may be getting the television treatment – after crossing over a billion in domestic grosses, the Twilight series has become a global phenomenon. Because there is still such high demand from most Twilight fans for a continuation for the series, producers are reportedly aiming to continue the series through a TV series. However, the series won’t focus on Bella and Edward, but rather the wolfpack (which, apart from Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black, is largerly tertiarty in the movies).

Even though it may focus on the wolfpack, it would still be set in the same fictional universe as Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight books. It doesn’t go into details about whether any of the other characters, or even Jacob Black, will be making cameos in the television series.
The TV Insider tells Digital Spy, “A TV show or film spinoff, merely set in the same world as the one in the movies but not featuring the main trio, is being seriously considered" with "The Wolf Pack, one area of interest".
Lionsgate has already denied rumors that Twilight was already in stages of reboot or remake, especially considering that the final movie of the saga has yet to release in theaters.
