Hollywood actress Uma Thurman is one of the most sought after stars in the business so will regularly have to leave her family to head off to work on her latest project. Uma has now admitted that, while she used to feel a strong sense of guilt for leaving her family, she has now learned to come to terms with the fact she is a working mother.
Thurman features in the US edition of OK! Magazine, where she explained to them, "I've finally gotten to a much more relaxed place. That's the great part of growing up. You start to accept yourself."
Thurman then admitted that she used to feel very guilty, "When I was younger and became a mother, I didn't think I could do anything else and I was completely overwhelmed. I'd feel guilty and afraid if I worked, and guilty and afraid about not working. So it's awesome now to have another baby when you're a grown up."
Uma Thurman has two children from her previous marriage to fellow Hollywood star Ethan Hawke, a 15-year-old daughter named Mia and a 12-year-old son named Levon. Meanwhile, Uma now has a 21 month old daughter named Luna with her fiance, French billionaire Arpad Busson.
As for her acting career, Uma Thurman can be seen starring in a cast that includes Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgård, Stacy Martin, Shia LaBeouf and Christian Slater, in the movie Nymphomaniac, which has been split into two volumes. Nymphomaniac has been written and directed by Lars von Trier and was released worldwide earlier in the year.
